WELCOME WIN IN PARISH DRAW - The first draw in this year’s Gowran Parish Draw took place last Thursday. Among the lucky winners was the Dungarvan Residents Association, generally known as the “ Development & Tidy Towns Association. The prize E100 is a very welcome boost to the association’s coffers.The Draw is still open to new subscribers with many great prizes on offer.

WEEKLY CARD GAME - Winners last Thursday with 11 games ; Annie Lehane / Martin Langton. Runners up with 10 games ; Sam and Lar Gibbons. Table prize went to Michael Phelan / Tom Drennan.

ANNUAL PANTOMIME - The Gowran Pantomime Society launched this year’s production “ALICE IN WONDERLAND” last night [Tuesday] The spectacular show continues tonight,and Friday and Saturday in Gowran Hall, curtain up 8pm each night,with a matinee on Sunday at 3pm.
