All in the community are very welcome to give their views and ask questions of members of the Forum. The proposed new Community Centre is now at an advanced stage and with the welcome news last week that Minister Phil Hogan has granted a Leader grant of €255,000 to the project will be of great benefit to push this project to the next stage.

MULLINAVAT GAA NOTES-Not a lot to report except for a couple of Senior Football results. Over the last two weeks they have played Dicksboro and Kilmoganny. I’m afraid there’s no good news to report as both turned out to be defeats. With one game left against Railyard the Senior league the team is now out of the running for honours. The good news this week is that the club will field a Special Junior B hurling team. With the panel members all paid up this shows the seriousness that the group are approaching the competition with and we wish them good luck in the coming season.
MULLINAVAT COMMUNITY LOTTO-Winning numbers for last week were 4,6,17 & 27 there was no winner of the Jackpot so next week it rises to €8,250. Three people matched 3 numbers and each received a cash prize they were Brian Cass, Siobhan Jones, and Breda Walsh. Best of luck to all those taking part.
