JJ WINS LEINSTER FINAL
The juvenile Leinster finals were played in Kilkenny last weekend. The u17 boys singles saw JJ English from the Goresbridge club take on Wexford’s Bryan Keogh in Kilfane. JJ got off to a good start in the first game and served well putting Bryan under serious pressure from the start. JJ hit some lovely kill shots and passing shots and never let his man into the game winning the first 21-2.
The second went much the same with some very tidy handball from the Goresbridge man, going on to win his Leinster title 21-4 in the second game. Special thanks from Chairman, Eddie English to John (Lance) O Neill for the amount of time he gives to JJ, training him. The best of luck is wished to JJ in the All Ireland semi final in two weeks. Congratulations also to John O Neill who won the county Junior title last week.
