Heartfelt Thanks-A sincere and heartfelt thanks is extended to the parishioners of Gortnahoe-Glengoole. Thanks to them the Golden Jubilee of Fr.John Joe O’Rourke was a huge success. It is impossible to thank everyone indiviudually suffice to say that the parish can be very proud that no stone was left unturned to ensure that anyone visiting the parish on June 4th was made feel very welcome. Fr. O’Rourke is wished every blessing and continued good health into the future and to thank him for giving all the oppertunity to come together on this special occasion and celebrate with his family and friends.

HOG IN THE BOG- Takes place in Mary Willies on this Saturday night June 23rd - a night for all to enjoy. Pig On The Spit will be served. Prize for best dressed Hill Billie. Music from 9.p.m. Na Fianna on stage from 10.30. to 12.30. Transport details on flyers distributed at Masses. Please ensure to book.
Glengoole Hall Sponsored Walk- Will be on Thursday June 28th at Derryvilla Loop Walk commencing at 7.45.p.m. Support would be appreciated.
AGM-Glengoole Hall AGM will be in the Hall on Monday June 25th at 8.30. As development work on the Hall will begin shortly we encourage a large number to come along to this meeting.
MASS- Good Shepherd Cemetery Mass: Will be on Friday 29th at 7.30.p.m.
PILGRIMAGE-Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will be on Sunday August 5th =. A bus will be travelling from the parish. Please give names to Fr.O’Rourke if intend travelling.
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Talent Show This Friday June 22nd in Gortnahoe Hall at 7.30.p.m. a great nights entertainment,showcasing local talent in aid of Gortnahoe Community field.
Millennium Family Resource Centre- Will hold their annual Family Fun and Craft day on Friday July 6th from 3.00 to 7.00. Please contact Pauline on 052 9157992 if anyone wish to sell their goods or crafts on the day or for any information also MRFC will be holding an information day on Wednesday June 20th from 9.30. to 4.30 for anyone intersted in their FETAC Level 4 course commencing in September.
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenille G.A.A.Club: Would like to invite all juveniles and their families to take part in the fundraising fun Run/walk on Sunday July 22nd at 1.30. starting at Glengoole Church and ending at Gortnahoe G.A.A. Field.
