Ireland’s first ‘hurling simulator’ at Bennettsbridge field day

BENNETTSBRIDGE’S annual field day is to have a unique first as its main attractiojn - a hurling simulator.

BENNETTSBRIDGE’S annual field day is to have a unique first as its main attractiojn - a hurling simulator.

The event takes place on June 24 at the local GAA field, and the simulator to test skills in the area is sponsored by the local Centra supermarket.

The day will also include hurling, camogie, basketball, athletics, golf, tug of war, Wheel of Fortune, Soak the Senator (back by big demand from last year), Dog show and much much more.

There will be competitions in hurling from U-8s right up to the legends of the game - the over 40’s section and Bennettsbridge certainly has more than its fair share of men in that category.
