CARLOW VINTAGE AND CLASSIC MOTOR CLUB - Carlow Vintage and Classic Motor Club has again celebrated another good year of activity, attending lots of shows and going away on week-end breaks to places such as Blarney, Co. Cork and the ever popular Llandudno in Wales. Now that the Vintage activity is slowing down for winter the club held their Annual General Meeting in the Lord Bagenal which attracted a good attendance. This year The club has elected an Hon. President, which a position is created to thank a long standing member who has made a good contribution to the club over the years. The officers and committee for the coming year are as follows: President Seamus Dowling; Chairman P.J. Lawler; Vice Chairman Pat Ryan; Hon. Secretary Terry Curry; Hon. Treasurer John Graves; PRO Michael Lakes; Committee Michael Cox, John Paul Cunningham, Sean O’Neill, Frank Thompson. The club’s annual night out will take place in December.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS - The committee of Bagenalstown Traders Association wishes to announce that they are not in a position to supply Christmas lights this year. The small but dedicated committee has been struggling to maintain the lights for the last few years, but are unable to meet the expenses facing them this year. They would like to thank everybody who supported them down through the years and wish all traders a successful Christmas season.
