During the month of November, St. Canice’s Parish, in the city will offer a series of talks entitled Voices of Hope. Beginning tonight (Wednesday) and continuing each Wednesday of the month, these events provide an opportunity for all of us to reflect on where it is that we find hope today in the midst of the many difficulties and problems that permeate the lives of so many of people, the church and society. Tonight (Wednesday) it will be the turn of Rev. Richard Clarke, Church of Ireland Archbishop elect of Armagh. The evening will begin at 7.30pm with the celebration of Mass before the “reflection”. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Deans Gate centre adjacent to St. Canice’s Church. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place in St. Canice’s Church on each of the four days from noon to 7.15pm.
