Spa Development-At the recent AGM a new Committee was elected to Spa Development. They are Chairperson Eamon Hughes, Secretary..Cathy Dermody, Treasurer Vincent Morrissey and PRO Eoin Ryan. As such, the Committee would like to invite anyone who has interest in, or ideas regarding the town and its surrounding area to the upcoming meeting on Thursday April 4th at St. Kieran’s Hall at 8.00pm. This will be an opportunity to discuss the future of the town and any ideas to make it vibrant and successful as possible. Please consider joining us for the night.

Whist Drive-a whist drive was held recently in St Mary’s Hall. Raffle results Paddy Delaney (2), Kelly Caldbeck (2) Brigid Walsh, Anna Brennan, Ellis Caldbeck, Amy Caldbeck, Mary Doheny, Joan Moloughney, Lorna Allen, Thomas Dunne. The proceeds of the night were presented to The Rev Cruckshank for the Christian Motorcycles Association of which the Rev Ian is an ardent member. This Association , which was established in the 70s is interdenominational and evangelistic in nature . The members believe there is nothing more fulfilling then being a Christian and love bikes. They are dedicated to taking the Gospel of Christ to the highways and byways through motor cycling. Since its founding it has expanded into an international industry, the money to be used to purchase bikers bibles.
