KILMACOW SOCCER CLUB
UNDER 12 Kilmacow 5 Ballinroad 1
This was a really good victory for Fergal’s Under 12s. They were on top throughout and fully deserved
the points. Fionn Blanche scored two of the goals and the others were scored by Stephen Moore, Ronán Leech and Patrick Walsh. Well done boys!
Kilmacow 2 Kilmacthomas 3
The coaches left in charge – Ciarán and Adam – as well as most people present are still trying to figure out just how our boys lost this match. They led 2-0 thanks to two super passing moves that resulted in David Colleton and Skipper Niall Bowe finding the net. After that our boys had a lot more of the play
than Kilmacthomas but didn’t turn that into goals and that proved to be the problem. The visitors equalised before half time and, despite having less of the ball in the second half, scored the winner
in the dying minutes. KILMACOW: Dylan Moore; Bill Walsh, Patrick Dollard, Patrick Connolly, Paul Hennessy; Niall Bowe (Capt), Fintan Leech, Colm Dolan; David Colleton, Cormac Suffin, Dean Scully. Res.: Rory Leech, Darragh McDonald, Bill Dempsey, Adam Long. Will Jolly.
UNDER 16 Ballyduff 1 Kilmacow 1
This was a good even match and both sides probably deserved the draw. It was a case of two penaltie for the goals. Alan Murphy slotted our one to the net to ensure the lads picked up another valuable point on their travels.
