A LIFE LESS ORDINARY
The well known military adage was certainly very pertinent recently when the Senior Scouts from the 1st Bagenalstown Baden Powell Scout Troop were put through their paces by the Defence Forces during the Senior Scout Admissions Test part two., Teamwork was the order of the day as the Patrols tackled each and every military – themed task and scenario with their usual Scouting spirit and positivity., Their performance during the weekend was truly fantastic and, as true Scouts, they kept smiling through it all., The leadership displayed by the Senior Scouts during the weekend was particularly impressive and as the going got tougher they rose to the occasion with a tenacity that would have made Robert Baden Powell himself very proud indeed. The Senior Scouts greatly enjoyed what was a memorable military experience and they would like to thank the Defence Forces for the great opportunity afforded them., They would also like to thank the Leaders who assisted at the event and McEvoy Coaches for their courtesy and cooperation.
