PRICELESS SKY STORMS INTO LEGER FINAL - The Paul Hennessy trained Priceless Sky has been mightily impressive throughout the Leger heats, and last Saturday evening he fulfilled expectations in the second semi-final of the St. Leger down in Limerick running a competitions best of 29.43seconds.
Priceless Skys task was made easier following the defection of Hennessy’s stable companion Droopys Comedian and Sparta Maestro who was one of the outright favourites of the Leger.
With only dogs going to post, Priceless Sky broke quickly out of the traps before stretching clear down the back straight to open up a decisive advantage.
Priceless Sky continued to accelerate clear of his three remaining rivals, before powering up the home straight to come home clear and power into this Saturday’s final.
Hennessy will be attempting to win the Leger for a second consecutive year following the success of What a Tornado last year when the final was run during the Summer months.
