BALLYKEEFFE CONCERT - On Saturday, 28 July, the great Jack L perfomred an exclusive show in Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre. Born Seán Loughman on 11 February, 1973 is a native of Athy, Co. Kildare. This Irish songwriter, record producer, vocal artist, musician and broadcaster is simply known as Jack L. Jack Lukeman first’s album was titled ‘Wax’ and was recorded with his band The Black Romantics in 1995. The band split in 1997 and Jack L was born. Since then he has gone from strength to strength touring extensively throughout Europe and America. He has also been known to perform in English, Irish, German, Czechoslovakian, French and Maori. It is without doubt that Jack’s range of vocals from baritone to falsetto created an utterly amazing effect when joined with the natural acoustics of Ballykeeffe.
