CAMAN SUPPORT THE CAMOGIE GIRLS - Young Irelands Camogie Club is made up of a very dedicated group of young women. They have enjoyed much success over the years, including winning the Junior County Final this year. Like all clubs , they need funds to keep the club going.An opportunity for supporters and all in the community to make a donation to this local facility arises this Saturday. A night of music and craic arranged by the club takes place in the Ouncel House with music by the very popular and talented Jackie McCracken. BREAK A LEG - The newly formed Gowran Little Theatre Group makes it’s debut on September 19th at Gowran Parish Hall. DUNGARVAN DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION - This small but very active group held their monthly meeting last Tuesday. Plans for the future development of the area were discussed at length and in particular the completion of the landscaping at the Scart Road entrance to the cemetery. It was agreed to hold future meetings on the second Monday of every month.
