St Joseph’s Supported Care home in Kilmoganny
St Joseph’s Supported Care home in Kilmoganny are reaching out to the community for support.
The board of St Joseph’s appreciate the invaluable support St Joseph’s has received from the community over the last 40 years and understands that it is a difficult time financially for all but would appreciate if you would keep St Joseph’s in mind during the Christmas period. Energy costs have risen significantly.
Proper heat and light are proving to be more expensive in caring for residents and ensuring they are warm and safe this Christmas.
The home provides meals to vulnerable and older people in the community. It has 19 beds where quality affordable care is provided to low to medium dependency residents. Meals are available each day for collection or in house for vulnerable people (just book in advance previous day).
It has a long history of providing respite care to people recovering from surgery or hospitalisation, where they need a little support before returning home. There are also physiotherapy and chiropody services available.
There is a day care centre and live music on Wednesdays, and other social activities include arts and crafts, hairdressing, bingo, and outings. Residents can also enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding the centre.
How can you help?
