Arctic blast of cold weather due back for Christmas night and St Stephen's Day in Kilkenny

Weather models are now in agreement that Kilkenny is set for a blast of sub-zero cold weather on Christmas night and into St Stephen's Day.

"Weather models in better agreement now for a short blast of cold Christmas night and St. Stephen’s Day," explains Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather.

The sudden cold spell is set to be short-lived however with temperatures rising again from December 27.

"Uncertainty around 28th onwards though," Alan confirmed.
