Children aged between 5 and 12 years old took to the stage on Saturday, 1 March in Moneenroe Community Hall to take part in Railyard GFC and Railyard LGFC's Lip Sync Fundraiser. Miriam Brennan from The Premier Academy of Dance and her sister Orlaith put the unforgettable show together which saw a total of 15 acts perform for the packed hall.
Local principal Barbara Luttrell, Councillor Maurice Shortall and set dancing teacher Ann Brennan were the judges on the night faced with an incredibly tough decision. The Twisters, also known as Ryan Booth and his little sister Chloe, were crowned the winners for their fantastic performance of APT.
An even bigger Lip Sync Battle is set to take place on Easter Sunday, 20 April in Hotel Kilkenny, with Saturday night's winners due to perform again. The money raised by the event will go towards the development of playing facilities such as an all-weather training area as well as dressing rooms and gyms for Railyard GAA club.
Tickets for the show are available on event54 and can be found via Railyard's Facebook page. The Club also has a host of other exciting events coming up so make sure to check out their social media for more details.
