GALLERY: Santa gives a warm welcome as Mount Juliet lights up for Christmas

It was a moving experience as Mount Juliet Estate invited a Ukraine family living in Thomastown to switch on the lights.

The Kruglik family from South Ukraine have been living in Kilkenny since they arrived in Ireland last April, after fleeing from the war in Ukraine. They have only recently moved to Jerpoint in Thomastown and are delighted with the warm welcome that they are receiving.

Mount Juliet also hosted a Christmas toy appeal from staff and management on the night too, with the toys being gifted to local Ukraine families in the area.
