Pictures: Super turnout for Kilkenny School Project's annual Winter Fayre

There was a great turnout for the Kilkenny School Project (KSP) Parent Teacher Association’s annual Winter Fayre at the weekend.

The community event was held at the KSP National School in Springfield, on Sunday. The event has become a cherished tradition in the KSP calendar. Organisers warmly welcomed people across Kilkenny who joined them for an enjoyable family afternoon.

The KSP Winter Fayre featured traditional crafts, handmade gifts and ornaments, family activities, games, a cafe, wreaths, a fantastic raffle, kids’ cookie decorating, a wheel of fortune, a disco and much more lively family fun. The big man in red, Santa Claus himself, also made a special appearance for family portraits.

The annual KSP Winter Fayre serves as the cornerstone fundraising at the school. Every cent raised is committed to enriching the educational opportunities of its students and supporting the day-to-day operations.

The KSP opened its doors in September 1987, one of the first multi-denominational schools in the country. Children of all faiths and non-religious backgrounds are welcome.

Kilkenny School Project is a co-educational primary school which is equality-based, democratically run and child-centred.
