Annual Kilkenny Lions Schools Concert set for return to St Canice’s Cathedral

The eagerly-anticipated Lions Schools Concert is back after a two year absence following the end of Covid restrictions.

St Canice’s Cathedral will be centre stage with music and song on Thursday, December 15, when the 27 th annual schools concert takes place, commencing at 7.30pm.

At the Christmas Tree Festival in the cathedral

Performing on the night will be:
St Canices Co-Ed School Choir;
Church Hill National School Choir;
Gaelscoil Osrai Choir;
St John’s Senior School Choir;
Alize School of Singing.

27TH YEAR
This is the 27th year the Lions Club has presented its Schools Concert in conjunction with the Kilkenny People and KCLR 96fm.

All proceeds go to the Lions Spirit of Christmas Hamper and Charity Appeal to help the needy of Kilkenny City and county.

Admission is €10 for adults and €4 for children, with a family of four for €25.

All are invited to come along, with an excellent night’s entertainment guaranteed.
