A gathering of approximately 30 friends of the late Don Daws took place in Thomastown in February, including members of the Thomastown Mens Shed, the Kilkenny Photographic Society and the Swimming Pool.
There were several speakers representing each organisation. The anniversary gathering retired to the Hub in Thomastown for refreshments.
Don Daws was a member of the Kilkenny Photographic Society, the Thomastown Mens Shed and a staunch supporter of the outdoor swimming pool development. He was a keen photographer and sailor.
