#3: Medieval Mile Museum
No visit to Kilkenny is complete without a trip to the Medieval Mile Museum in the converted St. Mary’s Church. Situated in the centre of the city and of the Mile, this is a wonderful place for families and group tours to experience life centuries ago in the city. Entry to the Museum by means of an ‘Interactive Audio Tour’ is €8.50 per adult, €3.50 per child, and the museum also hosts temporary exhibitions and events.
Easter Break LEGO Brick Family Workshop
The LEGO® Brick Family Workshop is a fun, creative learning experience for families with children aged between 7 and 13 years, using LEGO® bricks to build and create as a team. Each family group, or “team”, can contain up to four people but must have a minimum of at least one adult and one child. Along the way, families experience the joys, challenges and rewards of playing together. Prizes are awarded to the “winners” of each exercise but no team goes home empty-handed!
Dates: Saturday 9th April 10.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. & Monday 11th April 10.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.
Ticket Price: €50 (2 x Adults & 2 x Children)
