WATCH: Kilkenny's four-in-a-row triumph over Tipperary (2009)

In what was a highly anticipated showdown at Croke Park, Kilkenny and Tipperary clashed in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final on September 6, 2009.

Kilkenny were aiming for an unprecedented fourth consecutive title and the match would go down in history as another resounding triumph for the Kilkenny hurling dynasty.

Kilkenny's relentless pursuit of victory paid off, propelling them to a 2-22 to 0-23 win over Tipperary.
