WATCH: Kilkenny put Limerick to the sword in All-Ireland final (2007)

On September 2, 2007, the 120th All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final took place at Croke Park in Dublin.

The match featured a thrilling clash between Kilkenny and Limerick, culminating in a 2–19 to 1–15 victory for The Cats.

This marked the first time the two teams had met in the All-Ireland final since 1974 when Kilkenny emerged as the victors.

Kilkenny were aiming to secure their second consecutive All-Ireland title, while Limerick sought to claim their first championship since 1973.
