67 Roses will contest in the 2018 Rose of Tralee International Festival in Tralee, in August 2018.
Becoming the 2018 Rose of Tralee ensures a ‘Lifetime of Memories’ for the winning Rose, a treasure trove of jewellery and homewares from Lead Sponsor, Tipperary Crystal and a €25,000 world travel prize fund and the use of a brand new car for the year.
Clubs, societies, associations, businesses, family or friends can nominate an applicant.
All it takes is the first step: enter the selection by downloading the Entry Form from the Rose of Tralee website www.roseoftralee.ie
The Kilkenny Rose 2018, sponsored by MacDonagh Junction will take place at the Ormonde Hotel on April 14.
The Rose of Tralee International Festival will take place from August 17 to Tuesday August 21.
Lyn Moloney, Co Ordinator of the Kilkenny Rose commented , “This is great news for anyone who considers entering the 2018 Kilkenny Rose selection. There’s an incentive for more women to enter the Kilkenny Rose event this year in the knowledge that once she is selected, she will travel to Kerry in August to enjoy the full Festival”
Never before has it been easier to enter the Kilkenny Rose Selection and young Irish women aged between 18 and 27 are being encouraged to fill-out an online application form at www.RoseofTralee.ie or contact Lyn Moloney /Steve Cronly , Kilkenny Rose Co Ordinators.
The launch for this year’s Kilkenny Rose will take place in the Ormonde Hotel at 6pm this on February 10.
