WATCH: Joe Wicks visits national school on his tour of Ireland

THERE WAS huge excitement at St Brigid's national school in Garryowen as famous fitness guru, Joe Wicks, visited on his tour of schools across the country.

St Brigid's is only one of ten national schools in the country out of 11,000 entries that Wicks will be visiting. 

The fitness guru will visiting schools in the North of Ireland and also in Clare and Laois. 

Out at the back of the school on the astro-turf, 'The Body Coach' got the 30-minute workout underway with a warm-up and then multiple exercise's that the entire school were able to take part in. 

Laughs, singing and activity was enjoyed by pupils and teachers alike before Wicks opened up the floor to questions after the workout.

Joe seemed extremely impressed with the level of questions that were asked by the St Brigid's students which included "What would you be doing if you weren't a fitness coach?" and "What is your favourite thing to do apart from exercising?"
