The weather wasn't ideal for the first day of the National Ploughing Championships and these Kilkenny lads were happy to have a day off work and see some of the machinery on show.
"We came up to have a look at the machines and see what the craic was like," one Kilkenny man said.
"A day off work," was the best thing about the Ploughing for his fellow Kilkenny man.
Trad band The Tumbling Paddies were another attraction on the first day which they mentioned.
And coming from a farming background, the wet weather wasn't going to deter them either, although they were only planning to go for the first two days.
