Savour Kilkenny will welcome one of Ireland’s best loved comedians; Jason Byrne to open the festival of food with his local book launch at a fun event entitled ‘Cocktails & Comedy’ at The Set Theatre on Tuesday 25th of October.
As part of the collaboration between Savour Kilkenny and Gill Books, Jason Byrne will entertain guests and share stories from his heart-warming and hilarious new book, ‘Adventures of a Wonky-Eyed Boy’.
The award winning Irish comedian has just launched his debut book, a laugh-out-loud memoir that captures his childhood adventures as an accident-prone youngster in 1970’s and 1980’s Dublin. Jason will be on hand after the event to meet and mingle with guests and to sign copies of his new book.
Guest of the launch will be treated to a special Savour Kilkenny cocktail upon arrival created by Langton’s mixologist Danny Mullally. The special sweet and sour cocktail includes vodka, lime, cucumber, basil & raspberry. Tullaroan native, Danny will also perform a mixology demonstration showcasing the impressive flips and flairs of the trade.
