Prince Charles has always wanted to come to Kilkenny. Speaking in The Long Gallery, the Prince of Wales said it was particularly great to meet hurling legends.
"I was told to ignore performances in the league and told by Brian Cody that they were concentrating on the championship.
He added that he was delighted that he hadn't disgraced himself while hurling and scoring a goal in the castle garden
