Picture Gallery: Check out Kilkenny soldiers on the march at the Passing Out Parade

There was great fanfare at James Stephens Barracks on Thursday morning when 37 recruits and 12 staff took part in a passing out parade.

After 15 weeks of intensive physical and military training the recruits will now move up to the rank of private and will be deployed to units around the country.

11 recruits will remain stationed at James Stephens Barracks.
