It’s Kilkenny’s first All-Ireland Softball Adult Doubles Championship in over three decades
Players and mentors involved in Kilkenny GAA Handball are on a high this weekend after the county won the All-Ireland Softball Adult Doubles Championship for the first time since 1997.
Kyle Jordan and Jack Holden secured the crown in a dramatic final which went all the way to a tiebreaker against a determined Wexford (11-10).
"It could have gone either way. An unbelievable experience,” Kilkenny's Jack Holden commented.
His partner, Kyle Jordan was equally as thrilled, commenting, "It was no easy game. A good hard battle on the court. UP THE CATS!!”
