The game was due to be played this Sunday but has been rescheduled for Sunday, November 8, due to a bereavement in the Meath club.

Mullinavat's Leinster Intermediate Football Championship game against Duleek-Bellewstown (Meath) which was due to be played this Sunday has been postponed until Sunday, November 8, due to a bereavement in the Meath club.

The South Kilkenny club won an eight senior football title in ten years when defeating Tullogher Rosbercon in the county final back in May with the 1-15 to 0-11 success assuring them of Leinster qualification.

Mullinavat previously reached the Leinster Intermediate Final in 2019.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Kilkenny Intermediate football winners Muckalee make their bow in the junior grade as they travel to Kildare to take on St Kevin’s.

Muckalee got to this stage on the back of wins over Rower Inistioge and Piltown but they face a difficult challenge away from home for a 2.30pm throw-in at Manguard Park.
