Performer confirmed for RTE Late Late Toy Show but other details remain a mystery
One of the performers on this year's RTE Late Late Toy Show has been confirmed three weeks ahead of the show.
Many of the details of the show, including the theme, are being kept under wraps by RTE and the show's producers but they shared one surprise with viewers on Friday night.
On Friday night's Late Late Show, host Patrick Kielty, who will present his first Toy Show on November 24, was beamed live into a home in Dublin where one of the performers was told she would be appearing on the show.
Introducing the segment, he said: "All our Toy Show performer slots have been filled, except for one. There is still one Toy Show performer spot left and tonight we are going to let that performer know, right now, live on air."
The show then beamed to the house of 9-year-old Bonnie O'Meara in Beaumont, Co Dublin.
The youngster jumped around her living room surrounded by her family and said she was excited to be on the Toy Show.
In a post, the RTE Late Late Show said the "countdown is well and truly on" but beyond Bonnie's performance, the details of the show remain a big secret.
Viewers will have to tune in on Friday, November 24, to see the rest of the performers, toy testers and specials guests.
