New series on behind-the-scenes of retail giant Penneys to air next week

A new six-part series about retail giant Penneys is set to hit the air next week.

Inside Penneys will give viewers a behind the scenes look at its headquarters in Dublin, Arthur Ryan House, where over 1,200 employees are based.

It will also shadow the store's design and buying teams as they select the latest trends and must have items for the upcoming season, while also looking at preparations of opening new stores across the world.

A spokesperson for the company said: 

"The six-part series interweaves stories from the Penneys/Primark international head office in Dublin, were global decisions are made, through to the shop floor in its stores across the globe, where millions of customers shope each week."

Inside Penneys will begin airing on RTÉ on Tuesday January 9 at 8.30pm.
