Emerald Park has confirmed a new Tír na nÓg themed land and new rollercoasters will open to customers this May.
The Co Meath theme park - formerly known as Tayto Park - today (March 21) offered a sneak peek into its much-anticipated new development, which features two new state of the art rollercoasters.
The General Manager and CEO of Emerald Park, Charles Coyle, confirmed Tír na nÓg will open its gates to customers in just two months, with an official opening date to be revealed next month.
The new development sits on 6.5 acres of land and is the result of a €22 million investment.
The investment has secured a third classic theme park attraction known as a Waveswinger as well as the new rollercoasters, new food outlets, retail spaces, and a new entrance.
Speaking today, Coyle said, "Today marks a monumental leap in Emerald Park's journey as we unveil the trains on our two new rollercoasters at Tír na nÓg. This milestone not only signifies our dedication to creating fully themed and immersive experiences but also represents the culmination of years of hard work and innovation.
"As we continue to push the boundaries of imagination, we’re looking forward to seeing our guests embark on an unforgettable adventure this year."
Emerald Park re-opens on Saturday March 23 for the 2024 season.
