Female rap superstar Nicki Minaj has sunk her starship with Irish fans following a ‘sh*t show’ gig in Dublin over the weekend.
Fans were left furious following the ‘disgraceful’ show in Dublin’s Malahide Castle on Saturday July 6, which saw Nicki arrive late and leave fans to wait in ‘torrential rain’ for 90 minutes.
The 41-year-old US rapper performed for less than an hour. In those 45 minutes, she reportedly lip synced, fought with her own DJ and had five outfit changes.
This is the first time since 2015 that Nicki Minaj returned to Ireland.
Tickets for her Pink Friday 2 World Tour cost around €100, which Irish fans are now demanding full refunds for.
Carlow influencer Lauren Whelan was among those who attended the gig and expressed to her followers that it was a “waste of money”.
Other angered ticket holders took to social media to brand the concert as the “worst ever”, with one outraged fan saying: “I’m still not over how much of a sh*t show Nicki Minaj was in Dublin last night.
“To disappoint fans who have been obsessed with her music for years. Can’t even call that a performance, it was so awful”.
Another said: “People need to realise this woman hates her Irish fans”, while someone else said “Doesn’t feel that I got what we paid for at all. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT”.
Shortly after the ‘complete disaster’ of a gig in Malahide Castle, the rap star cancelled her follow-up gig in Bucharest, Romania due to ‘safety concerns’.
