Irish film star, Barry Keoghan takes centre stage as he features in the release video of the brand new Man United kit in a video released by Adidas. He is joined on the screen by a host of Man United legends and current players of the club.

As Manchester United unveil their new strips ahead of the Premiere League season, they enlisted Barry to lead the line for the Red Devils as they reveal their retro inspired third kit.

The video starts with Barry remarking "I found myself and others, dreaming like kids do."

Fans with even a passing knowledge of Manchester United with recognise a whole host of cameos from Man United players and legends alike including Man United's much loved trio of youngsters Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Hojlund. Amad Diallo, Luke Shaw, and Gabby George also fill out the current crop of United players seen in the video.

It wouldn't be a retro kit release without a few features from icons of the past, and probably the most notable for us is the former Ireland International Denis Irwin, as he is joined by his former teammates, 'Captain Marvel' Bryan Robson, and Dutch centre half, Jaap Stam.

The most interesting link in the video comes when Barry is chatting to two-time FA Cup winner with Man United, Frank Stapleton, who is Barry's second-cousin!

The release ends fitting with Barry saying, "After all we've seen, you can't beat an original."
