Writers Nuala Roche and Caroline Sutherland will take part in the AKA event
Following the success of last year’s Alternative Kilkenny Arts event, writers Nuala Roche and Caroline Sutherland are back with Wip Wip 2!
Come along and listen to new creative non-fiction and short stories at The Book & Coffee Shop, William Street next Wednesday (August 16) from 6.15pm to 7pm.
Since last year's AKA Nuala Roche received an Arts Council Literature award and Irish Writers Centre mentorship, and was placed second in the Fish Publishing Memoir Competition for this non-fiction work. She also won the Red Line Festival Poetry Prize, and has a poem recording in the Poetry Jukebox at Galway Museum.
Caroline’s short stories have won the Crediton, Dalkey Creates and Yeovil short story prizes. Her work is published in Riptide Journal, Books Ireland Online and Moths against Glass, among others.
Both writers have received Kilkenny Arts Office bursaries for the Tyrone Guthrie Centre.
This is a free unticketed event, first come first served!
