A French choir are set to take Kilkenny by storm when they perform at St Mary’s Cathedral alongside The Unity Singers in what promises to be a very special performance.

The two choirs performed together in France, at the invitation of the French choir, Ad Libitum, last summer and now the Kilkenny choir are returning the act of hospitality.

The concert will take place at St Mary’s Cathedral on November 1 at 7.30pm and also features a young, violin soloist, Megan Dermody, who is an up and coming star and has been under the tutelage of Carl Rochford of the Kilkenny Violin Studio for the past ten years.

Tickets are €10 and are available from any committee member of The Unity Singers and on the door on the night of the concert.
