Shrughawadda Players will perform the play A Miracle in Donegal by Brian Foster in St Eoghan`s Centre, Kilmoganny, Co Kilkenny, from February 19 to 22 2025.
A Miracle in Donegal tells the story of 16 year old girl Katie McDaid from Burnfoot who claims to be experiencing visions of the Blessed Virgin at the old Celtic hillfort Grianan an Aileach.
Believed by some, ridiculed by others, Katie`s claims divide the local community with even the priests in the parochial house bitterly divided. Is she lying or is there something really going on?
