Kilkenny's Cat Laughs will be 25 years old in 2019

The Kilkenny Cat Laughs is back for its 25th year in 2019.

The summer bank holiday weekend May 30 to June 3 2019 will see two major birthday shows plus the Golden ticket, just in time to get thinking about filling those Christmas stockings.

The first birthday show is on Saturday, June 1 at 7pm in the Hub at Cillín Hill, featuring Dara Ó Briain, Ed Byrne, Rich Hall, Alison Spittle and host by Barry Murphy.

The next evening, Sunday, June 2 at 7pm, Tommy Tiernan, David O’Doherty, Adam Hills, Phil Jupitus, Joanna McNally will play Tickets for these two red hot shows are now on sale at www.thecatlaughs.com

Dan Colley, The Cat Laughs Co-Artistic Director said: "Irish comedy has grown up with the Cat Laughs over the last 25 years, and now many of the household names of comedy are counted among the Cat Laughs biggest fans.

Dan said that comedians love playing Kilkenny, especially those funny people from overseas because of the atmosphere and sense of fun about the place.
