A masked man armed with a knife robbed a shop in Carrick-on-Suir town centre on Sunday night.
The man entered the Primo convenience store, located on the N24 at Greenside, Carrick-on-Suir at approximately 8.45pm on April 16.
He wielded a knife, threatened the shop’s staff and demanded cash.
The robber escaped on foot with a quantity of cash from the shop, which was formerly part of a service station. He ran in the direction of the Swan GAA Club grounds at Greenside.
A Garda spokesperson said the culprit's face was covered during the robbery. He wore a hoody top with the hood covering his head. He was dressed in a dark coloured tracksuit and jacket and wore runners.
She urged anyone with information that may assist their investigation to contact Carrick-on-Suir Garda Station at (051) 642040 or Clonmel Garda Station at (052) 6177641.
