Gardaí in Waterford investigating armed robbery from local garage station

Gardaí in Waterford are investigating an armed robbery from a garage station in the past week. 

They are looking for assistance with their investigation into a robbery from the Top Garage on the Park Road opposite the People’s Park in Waterford city. 

It occurred on Tuesday the 12th December at 6.30pm. 

During the incident the young male entered the garage shop produced a knife and demanded money. 

He then made his escape through the People’s Park.

The suspect was wearing a grey zipped jacket with pockets on the chest, black tracksuit end, black and white runners and a black baseball cap. 

He was slim build approx. 5ft 5 in height with short fair hair.
