Autumn Tobin has been appointed as the 2023 Network Ireland Kilkenny President.

Autumn joined Network Ireland Kilkenny in 2020 and took up an active role on the committee in 2021 as Membership Liaison.
In 2022 she stepped up to Vice-President, leading to her appointment as President of the branch this year. She succeeds outgoing President, Valerie O’Sullivan.

Autumn, originally from Boston, moved to Ireland in 2019 and lives in Kilkenny with her husband Derek and their three boys. She has a B.Sc. in Biology and a Master’s degree in Education which she uses to help clients as a Mental Health & Recovery Coach.

She has also founded The KOOP Studios as a one-stop-shop of complementary practitioners who facilitate workshops and design well-being programs for organisations locally and world wide.

  • Autumn’s priorities for Network Ireland Kilkenny in 2023 include:
  • Ensuring that those who choose to be part of the network are realising a personal and/or professional benefit;
  • Creating an impact for the branch’s charity partner for 2023, Mental Health Ireland - raising funds and awareness;
  • Recognising those who selflessly volunteer to run the network - showcasing their talent and helping them level-up on their CVs in return for their time and effort

Autumn paid tribute to the outgoing President and her fellow committee members for their efforts throughout the year.

“In 2023, I want to put more emphasis on the social gatherings that we have as a network because it doesn’t have to be all work and no play to form friendships and collaborations that can benefit our careers.

“In any given month there will be both a professional development event and a personal development event.

“I would also like to thank Hilary Hughes for stepping into the role of Vice-President. She will be integral to the planning and implementation of strategies that will help us grow and develop as a network and deepen the impact we have in our local community.

“I have chosen Mental Health Ireland as our charity partner and look forward to working with them to decrease the stigma attached to mental health issues.”

Network Ireland is a networking organisation that supports the professional and personal development of women. The Kilkenny branch has more than 50 members.
