Kilkenny Chamber’s first Chamber Chat of 2024 took place at the recently opened State Street offices in the Kilkenny Business and Technology Park in Loughboy.
Managing Director Cathal Smyth welcomed a large audience to the iconic building and spoke of the work that was undertaken to ensure an A3 rating for the property, by introducing the sustainable and eco-friendly features within. This includes four beehives that can produce around 13 litres of honey each year.

He said that the offices, with capacity of over 700 employees and a large boardroom overlooking the city with spectacular views, are a sign of the long term commitment of State Street to Ireland, and to Kilkenny in particular.
Those attending were then treated to a tour of some parts of the building and were full of praise for the high standard of design.
