Kilkenny bar, An Poc Fada picked up a prestigious award at the Irish Hospitality Awards on Monday.
The popular pub won the award for Best Sports Bars. The pub, situated on 20 Rose Inn St, Gardens, Kilkenny, has previously received rave reviews, with the quality of food and service particularly highlighted.
The winners of the Hospitality Awards were announced at a prestigious ceremony held on Monday, July 1 at The Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, where thriving professionals gathered together for a celebration of the hospitality industry.
A Spokesperson for the 6th Irish Hospitality Awards 2024 said: ”Working for the hospitality industry can be challenging at times and the last few years have shown that. These awards aim to recognise those who have succeeded in this sector, despite the difficulties.
"The awards provide a platform to thank and honour those who have contributed to making Ireland a friendly and welcoming place, enhancing the country’s reputation nationally and internationally.
"We would like to congratulate all of our Winners & Highly Commended recipients on their incredible accomplishments.”
