Brendan Cullen with Thomas Edison and Henry Ford – two members of one of the first ever mastermind groups
A short and interactive workshop on ‘mastermind groups’ which will be of interest to business owners is to take place in Kilkenny next week.
Owning and running a business is challenging – with huge demands on the owner’s time and a role that can sometimes be a little bit lonely. Business owners can often lack a way of getting help with their challenges from fellow business owners – the people who can best empathise with them because they’re dealing with many of the same challenges themselves.
One solution to this is a mastermind group – a group of business owners dedicated to mutual support and to helping all members grow and improve their business. Local businessman Brendan Cullen runs a mastermind group and wants to make more business owners aware of what being in a group can offer. READ MORE KILKENNY BUSINESS NEWS HERE
Brendan’s definition of a mastermind group: “A group of two or more business-owners that holds regular, structured meetings to help all members grow and improve their business. Brainstorming and accountability are at the core of the group – which operates in a proactive, mutually supportive, safe and confidential environment.”
On August 27 in the Pembroke Hotel, Brendan is running a short and interactive workshop on mastermind groups. The goal of the workshop is for attendees to walk away not just knowing what a mastermind group is, but also having experienced the benefits of being in one.
The cost is just €10 with all proceeds going to the Irish Hospice Foundation – a charity close to Brendan’s heart. Interested? Call or email Brendan on 086-3788076 or email him at brendan@upwardspiral.ie or book on Eventbrite.
