Kilkenny-based company Fanning Electrical and Solar Ltd (FES) has been awarded the prestigious Business All-Star 2024 accreditation by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.

It caps off a notable few days for the local company, having also just been nominated by Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce for Exceptional Customer Service in the upcoming Kilkenny Business Awards.

Established with a focus on delivering sustainable energy solutions, FES has consistently set a high standard of service. Their expertise spans across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, helping clients embrace greener energy options. The company’s innovative approach has played a key role in their continued growth and success. A strong example of this innovation is FES’s work in the schools sector, where they have enriched the lives of school children in 20 different communities.

FES installed 14 solar panels in each school as part of a Department of Education initiative. The aim is to reduce energy costs, and educate students about sustainable energy use, linking the topic to their curriculum. Additionally, following the installation process, FES also returned to the schools to deliver a lesson on sustainability.

The accreditation by the All-Ireland Business Foundation is a significant milestone for the company. It recognises FES’s dedication to quality, customer satisfaction, and industry innovation. Being honoured with a Business All-Star highlights their leadership in driving the adoption of solar energy across the country, benefiting both the environment and economy.
Looking ahead, FES aims to expand its reach across Kilkenny, Carlow, Waterford, Laois, Wexford, Tipperary, Offaly, and Kildare, while continuing to enhance the energy efficiency of Irish homes and businesses. Their commitment to advancing green energy technologies in these counties will undoubtedly play a central role in shaping Ireland’s future energy landscape.

Reacting to the news of his company’s achievement, Managing Director, Darren Fanning said: “We at Fanning Electrical and Solar Ltd are immensely proud to be honoured with the Business All-Star 2024 accreditation by the All-Ireland Business Foundation. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team in delivering top-quality electrical and solar solutions. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence and innovation for our valued customers and partners.”
