Kilkenny newsagents to close after over 30 years in business

A popular County Kilkenny newsagents have confirmed they will close their doors for the final time at the end of November.

O'Keeffe's Daybreak in Thomastown confirmed the news by erecting a sign on their shopfront in recent days.

"Closing 30-11-2025," the sign read.

"Thank you one and all for the past 35 years. We really enjoyed ourselves.

"Retiring Now!"
