A popular bar in Johnstown in North Kilkenny has been forced to make a significant business decision due to 'ever increasing overheads'.
In a statement, the business confirmed that they've decided 'not to continue' with their Sunday lunch trade.

"Unfortunately we haven't been able to hit our target numbers and feel that it won't improve in the near future so due to ever increasing overheads we have come to this decision," a spokesperson for the pub said.
"I'd like to thank all of our customers. We really appreciated your company and custom over the 10 months.
"I'd also like to thank my staff who put in a huge effort and im very proud of their efforts and dedication in providing quality food and service.

"Thanks again, I wish you all a happy Xmas and hope to see ye in for a drink over the festive period."
