Westcourt Walled Garden
Make the most of a summer Sunday afternoon with a trip to Westcourt Walled Garden, next weekend.
Located in Callan, the Walled Garden is host to allotments, a community supported growing project and small business ventures.
On Sunday afternoon, from 1pm to 5pm, the growers at Westcourt invite you to a Summer Party in the garden (Eircode R95YK5Y).
There will be a barbecue (with vegetarian and vegan options), tea, coffee and cake on sale, as well as local musicians, free games for children and some tours of the walled garden.
The Summer Party is a fundraiser to support much needed works on the historic walls around what was once the vegetable garden for Westcourt House. Funds will also be used to provide water and electrical services to the garden.
All are welcome.
